Description

Homeopathic remedy for sinus infection or sinusitis. (Note: This remedy used to be called "Sinus Appeaser". This is the exact same remedy renamed "Sinus Relief".) Sinus Relief helps relieve

Directions

Turn tube upside down. Twist cap to break the seal, or peel off the small portion of the label along the perforated line. Hold tube vertically and keep twisting cap to release the desired number of pellets.

More Information

Sinus infection or sinusitis causes the nasal passages and cavities around the nasal passages (sinuses) to swell and become inflamed. The sinus openings become blocked. Mucus that lines the sinuses starts to build up and fails to filter and moisten the air we breath. Bacteria and pollutants are no longer effectively propelled outward.

Sinusitis creates difficulty breathing, and a pounding pain around and behind the eyes and nose as well at the back of the head may kick in. Often we begin to suffer from a sore throat, a dry cough, fever, irritability, and ear pain.

Our skull houses four pairs of sinuses. They are located in the forehead, between the eyes, behind the eyes, and behind the cheekbones. They are connected to the nasal passages, insulate the skull, and allow our voice to resonate.

We differentiate between acute sinusitis — lasting up to 12 weeks — and chronic sinusitits — lasting more than 12 weeks or frequently recurring. Both forms of sinusitis are triggered by

  • pollutants in the air, i.e. cigarette smoke,
  • allergies,
  • a lingering or untreated cold or flu,
  • a viral, fungal, or bacterial respiratory tract infection, and/or
  • nasal polyps, non-cancerous growths in the sinuses or nasal passages.

Chronic or recurring sinusitis is often also linked to and aggravated by alcohol and tobacco consumption; pets in the home; the overuse of antibiotics, decongestant nasal sprays, and antihistamine medication; as well as long-term exposure to stress. Certain sports activities including swimming and diving can also worsen your sinus problems. If your sinus conditions increase when you are experiencing stressful situations, see our Stress & Anxiety remedies to take a combination of Sinus Relief and Stress Relief or Anxiety Relief for long-term relief.

Sinus Relief helps you to breathe and sleep again and to put an end to your acute and chronic sinus problems. It stimulates your body's self-regulating forces and can eliminate the need for intrusive sinus surgery.

Also follow these healthy tips:

  • Wash your hands often.
  • Drink plenty of water, tee, and juice.
  • Rinse your nasal passages with a bulb syringe or neti pot.
  • Get enough sleep.
  • Practice relaxation techniques.
  • Avoid smoke and polluted air.
