Nux Vomica: The remedy helps relieve stomach pains and constipation alternating with diarrhea. There is a general aggravation of symptoms from being cold, the person tends to be chilly and get relief from warmth. The person needing this remedy tends to be a workaholic, impatient, and irritable.

Podophyllum: This remedy is indicated for severe diarrhea, colitis, and inflammatory bowel disease. The stool is watery and explosive with gas. The person needing this remedy may also have liver or ovarian conditions and stiffness in the joints and muscles.

You can take the remedy as directed by a homeopath or select the remedy that best fits your symptoms and take a dose in a 6c or 30c potency. If there is no improvement, select a different remedy. If improvement is seen, repeat the dosage as needed up to 3 times a day.
