The 3 Calcium Salts
Our body requires calcium for healthy bones, teeth, muscles, veins, and skin. Calcarea Fluorica supports the healthy surface of bones, teeth, skin, and elasticity of veins. Calcarea Phosphorica is the cell salt for the growth, strength, and healing of bones.
Calcarea Sulphurica is good for the skin and mucous membranes. It helps heal discharging wounds, boils and acne, coughs, colds, earaches, and eye infections. It is often described as the cell salt that alleviates yellow discharge containing streaks of blood.
The 3 Potassium Salts
Potassium is important for the proper function of cells, tissues, and nerves. The Kali (another word for potassium) salts support emotional health, and deficiencies are often indicated by a strong combination of physical and mental symptoms.
Kali Muriaticum is the remedy for colds and sinus infection with white discharges and a white coated tongue, earache with congestion when the person lacks energy and interest.

The 3 Sodium Salts
The sodium salts regulate fluids throughout the body. They are wonderful remedies indicated by very clear symptoms. Natrum Muriaticum is the water-distributing cell salt.
It helps with dry mouth, dry lips, chronic sinus conditions, cold sores, mouth ulcers, constipation, water retention/edema, and headaches and migraines after long exposure to sun or heat.
Natrum Phosphoricum neutralizes acidity in the blood and relieves digestive disorders including belching, heartburn, indigestion, and gas. Nat Phos is excellent for people with food sensitivities and infants with colic.
Natrum Sulphuricum eliminates excess water and waste/toxic fluids. It controls the functioning of the liver and strengthens the pancreas. It is indicated by a retching stomach, bitter taste, green tongue, green mucous, and green diarrhea.
Nat Sulph is the principal cell salt for influenza and also associated with conditions triggered by humidity such as asthma and a hopeless and oppressed state of mind.
Iron, Magnesium, & Silica
Ferrum Phosphoricum is the homeopathic iron. It is the cell salt for the beginning of a fever, cough, or cold. Ferr Phos with Calc Phos (for absorption) is recommended for alleviating anemia.
Magnesia Phosphorica, often called the homeopathic aspirin, can heal acute pains including earache and teething in babies. Mag phos is the anti-spasmodic cell salt relieving cramps and twitches anywhere in the body and easing menstrual cramps. It often acts faster when taken with a sip of hot water or squirted into warm water.
Silica or Silicea, the homeopathic lancet, helps the body eliminate non-functional organic matter such as an abscess or stye by speeding suppuration. It strengthens nails and hair, nurtures the skin, and is the cell salt that decreases excessive perspiration including sweaty toes or athlete’s foot.
