Turn tube upside down. Twist cap to break the seal, or peel off the small portion of the label along the perforated line. Hold tube vertically and keep twisting cap to release the desired number of pellets.
Take 3 to 5 pellets 3 times a day or as needed away from meals, letting pellets drop directly from the cap into your mouth. Allow pellets to completely dissolve in your mouth. A sore throat is caused by overuse or — most often — a viral infection, such as the cold or flu. The mucous membrane of the pharynx (throat) becomes inflamed and so may the tonsils and soft palate. Sore throats can be extremely painful and unpleasant, trigger bead breath and fever.
In some cases, the voice box or larynx gets inflamed, a condition we call laryngitis. The vocal cords become swollen, can't vibrate as usual, and our voice may sound hoarse or muffled for several weeks. Steroids might be prescribed to help reduce the swelling of the cords for individuals who use their voice professionally. Still, steroids can only make your voice sound better temporarily, and repeated use may hurt your throat in the long run. Singers, teachers, and public speakers — while taking steroids — are urged not to apply their voice at maximum as it will cause your cord damage to get worse.
Untreated sore throats can lead to secondary infections, including strep throat, and the need for antibiotics. Sore Throat Soothe is an excellent homeopathic remedy prepared to rapidly calm your throat and vocal cords and to boost your body's self-healing expertise.
We recommend Sore Throat Soothe together with Cold & Flu Relief if your cold and flu symptoms usually start with a burning throat.
