Throughout history, honey has been used to soothe coughs naturally. In each ready-to-use packet of Honey Don't Cough, you'll find all-natural buckwheat honey, made by bees, from the nectar of the buckwheat plant's dainty pink and white flowers.
Don't let its common name fool you. Honey produced from buckwheat nectar is rich, dark, and uniquely flavorful, with higher concentrations of vitamins mineral, and antioxidants than most honeys.
An acute cough due to a cold, influenza, or bronchitis can last from a few days to a few weeks and can be fatiguing and painful. A natural cough reliever will bring ease and relieve pain in the throat and bronchi. The honey also acts as a coating for the throat reducing the involuntary coughing and giving time for the throat to heal.
Buckwheat honey is a gentle cough reliever for children (over 12 months) and a much healthier alternative to dextromethorphan (pharmaceutical cough medicine). Rest assured and feel better without artificial ingredients, drugs, or their often harmful side effects. Just the way nature intended.
